NORTH CAROLINA ANNUAL CONFERENCE
ABOUT US
The African Methodist Episcopal Church is found all over the world and is divided into Episcopal Districts. The 2nd Episcopal District of the AME Church has the Washington Annual Conference, the Baltimore Annual Conference, the Virginia Annual Conference, the North Carolina Annual Conference and the Western North Carolina Annual Conference all under the Servant Leadership of Bishop James L. Davis and Supervisor Mother Arelis B. Davis. The North Carolina Annual Conference is divided into two District Conferences with include the Norther District and the Southern District. We are the Sweet, Sizzling, Supernatural Southern District under the guidance and leadership of Presiding Elder Evelyn G. Dunn. We are the Christian Church who believe in God and have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of our lives. The African Methodist Episcopal Church is organized into different groups and organizations but work together collectively to serve the needs of one another which include fellowship of worship, activity and service. OUR VISION
To serve as the Body of Christ, help lead souls to Christ, and to grow in spiritual understanding and character to effectively serve both God and people.
WHAT WE DO
We serve through participation and personal growth. Each member is to seek out the program or activity which appeals to he/she for which he/she can best serve. He/She must also "Continue to grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ."
